“MythBuster” Jamie Hyneman showed his Russian language skills at the Geek Picnic 2016 in Moscow.
“I was a university student and I wanted to become a Slavic literature librarian. But then I changed my mind and went to the Caribbean Islands where I worked as a captain. I haven’t spoken much Russian so far”, Jamie said and added “Spasibo [Thank you]” when the reporter hailed his language skills.
You can learn more about Jamie’s history of relations with the Russian language from these videos. Keep in mind that more than 35 years have passed since he decided to learn Russian at Indiana University! Bravo!
Before landing in Moscow, Jamie had explored other places in Russia.
