Russian football fans suffered brain concussions from multiple facepalms and facedesks they had while watching the performance of their national team at Euro-2016. The team of millionaires was ignominiously kicked out of the tournament, and the sports minister said even a woman could head the national team now. Here’s the first candidate.
Twenty-eught-year-old Croatian model and football player Tihana Nemcic said the Russian football team would benefit from a mixed male-female coaching.
“I would be honored if Russia offered the coaching job to me. It would be a success for every determined professional. Moreover, Russia is a point itself”, she told Life.ru.
“I think that women are better at understanding emotions, which is crucial for training athletes”, she explained.
Analyzing the Russian team’s fail at Euro-2016, she found drawbacks in formation and tactics but hailed the team’s fitness as “excellent.” Russia’s squad had a predictable style of playing and lacked a capable striker, she expanded.
Tihana is the first woman to head a men’s team – in 2012, she became Croatian fifth division club NK Viktorija Vojakovac’s manager.
Well at least Russia may have the most beautiful coach if its performance will remain without progress.
